Thanks also to the ever-faithful Aniel.
Let me clarify the matter of the Bartle average.
Of course, I appreciate the compliments (who wouldn’t?), but personally, the reason that drives me to write is to discuss and exchange opinions with others about my tastes in albums and films, and about my opinions in general.
For me, ratings are relative.
So if you believe that one of my reviews is terrible, you can tell me freely, giving me, if you like, a well-deserved 1.
There’s no problem at all, really.
I’m not interested in being first in the rankings of the most liked reviews, I repeat, but in engaging with all of you out of a spirit of competition sometimes, but mostly to learn.
Because, without any flattery, since I’ve been here on DeB, I’ve really grown a lot musically.
In any case, I saw the brilliant initiative that led you, Ocram, and Francesco to write a joint review.
I wanted to ask you this for a while, but have you met in person?
It’s a shame to live so far away; I would love to meet some fellow debaseriani in person.
Crap, I’m digressing. Au revoir.

I'm sorry Bartle, but wouldn't you be afraid of a tiger? :-)

Happy, a few months ago I saw the redux version.
I based myself on that.

Hi Bartle, I'm taking advantage of this flu to write a few clarifications.
First of all, I apologize for the mistake regarding the colonel's name, but, you know, while writing this review I didn't check the plot or anything online; I relied solely on my memories and impressions. Perhaps if the publishers could add the 't' I would be grateful.
Same goes for the photograph; I had no idea who had taken it.
Soundtrack: sorry, I've never loved the Doors, and by praising their soundtrack I would only be a hypocrite.
In returning the esteem and friendship, I greet you and thank you like everyone else.
P.S.: As I had a chance to specify, I don’t care much about the rating, so you’re free to give me a 1 if you want. ;)

All past sweet Bjork.
By the way, it would have been really foolish to keep fighting over an experience that, I believe, we share and that has marked both of us. Bye.

No Bjork, I'm sorry but I didn’t express myself well then. I found a comment of yours about drugs a bit superficial (please don’t make me repeat it) and I explained my reasons to you. In response, you wrote that you thought I was getting back at you because you had given me a three on the review. I tried to explain that it wasn’t like that, but you continued to doubt my explanation and sincerity, saying that I had a low opinion of you and that I was airing my business to the four winds. I'm sorry, but where do you see the provocation in all this? The comments are there, read them again calmly. By the way, there’s no need to shout; we’re among civilized people. If you feel offended by something, I apologize, but I repeat, with those insinuations of yours, not understanding that my criticisms were driven by my personal sensitivity to the topic and insisting on the issue of the rating, making me seem like a kid fixated on the average, you have also offended me.

Thank you all, as always you are far too kind.
I want to reiterate that I am quite pleased not to be the only Lovecraftian on the site and that the film is appreciated.
P.S.: Don't pay attention to the 1, it's a demonstrative action towards a dear friend who believes I'm taking offense due to a rating given to the review, and that because of this she wants to take revenge by attacking me elsewhere.
I would like to tell you that I never hold a grudge and I'm always ready to extend an olive branch, if you accept it of course.

By the way, I haven't been so explicit in "telling my issues," as you have.
Just to make you understand that your comment and the nonsense about the vote had really upset me.
Anyway, I'm heading to work now.
I really hope to never return to this topic here on DeB.

I'm sorry that you can't understand the meaning of my words by continuing to cling to the issue of the vote.
Moreover, you say that I have a low opinion of you when I haven't written that anywhere, and, by the way, I don't think so.
If you truly believe that I'm so pathetic as to seek revenge for a bad vote, I'll accommodate you and every time I respond, I'll put a nice 1 in my review.
At this point, we've reached the games of children.

Ajeje, I’m really glad that you enjoyed the movie, especially since I know you’re a Lovecraftian like everyone who has visited my review. I haven’t seen the film you mentioned, but I recommend checking out Dagon la mutazione del male, which I find beautiful as well, even though it’s more straightforward compared to Il seme della follia.
