Anyway, I am aware of all the shortcomings of the review. To fully write about this work, if anyone could manage it, would truly require a manuscript. And it's perfectly normal for everyone who loves the film to contribute by integrating and expanding the content of the review. As Don rightly said, I advise those who are not satisfied with the review to consider it as a stone in the pond in order to analyze all the issues in greater detail.

In fact, the idea that every soldier harbors both beast and God is not the only quote from Brando that I wrote down. The review is somewhat impersonal in this regard, as I often referenced what Kurtz said, even if not always directly quoted. The quote about the snail, the commanders training the youth to drop napalm but not wanting them to write "fuck" on the helicopters, the Vietnam War as "the biggest nothing in history," the final quote. The one about the hypocrisy of the military, who first massacre civilians and then offer them band-aids, is, however, a quote from Sheen.

After all, Tabba, what are the comments for, if not to clarify and analyze a review that, especially for these films, as Surfer rightly points out, will always be incomplete? The further clarifications and various interpretations provided by the readers only make me appreciate the film even more and see it with ever different eyes. Thanks to everyone. It must be the fever, but I feel a bit mushy and maybe even a little sickly sweet :D
