Tyler, honestly, I wouldn't give too much credit for that.
For that matter, when the Doors movie came out, everyone in high school went crazy.
Everyone imitating Morrison's moves.
Films that have this kind of impact, in my opinion, are pathetic, just like those that imitate them (don't take it personally, Tyler, it's a general consideration reflecting old experiences).

I found the entire trilogy to be monstrously heavy, including this one.

I prefer Jane Siberry's version. I don't know, I just can't digest the soundtrack. It starts off strong with songs by the Cure and especially by Machine Loving Grace, only to constantly lose momentum. If I think, for example, of the songs by Helmet, RATM, or Pantera, they all sound the same and I even struggle to remember them...

I also think the soundtrack was overhyped. Take out the song by the Cure and the second track by Machine Loving Grace, which I find to be two great songs, and the rest I find to be neither good nor bad.

The review is a pleasure to read, although it might be a bit too long. As for the film, I honestly find it one of the most overrated in history. Too epic, too inflated, too fake, in my opinion. I believe that the entire legend that has developed around it is almost exclusively due to the death of Bruce Lee's son. In short, to me it's just a little film.
