Among other things, the film was inspired by a true event in which 5 French soldiers were executed for treason. Happy, do you also see in this film a critique of the death penalty, even more cruel when inflicted on a sick person, or did I dream it? ;-)

In my opinion, you could have easily saved your final dedication or at least made it less cloying, considering that, in any case, it's about a person you don't know, and therefore, you don't truly know what they're like.
