One last thing, it's clear that Theater are not a "strictly" metal band, but this, in my opinion, is an obvious point, because, given the many facets of metal, there would currently be very few bands that could be considered strictly metal (not even the Metallica of the latest albums would fit that description).

I, in my first post, have already shared what I think about the album, so feel free to ask me any questions you want.

For Mayhem: I want to preface that, even though I don't agree, I found your comment interesting (unlike those who want to show that they really know what they're talking about and just trash the Theater without commenting on the album), but unfortunately, it's not my fault that the band is followed by many unintelligent fanatics and kids who don't understand a damn thing. But that doesn't mean we need to be superficial and petty (I'm always annoyed with the know-it-alls mentioned above).

Otherwise, go comment on the Bark Psychosis.

Can we finally understand that Bark Psychosis have nothing to do with Theater?

Blah, blah, blah, blah, we've ended up even with Lou Reed now.
I’m sorry, but you’re really losing sight of what the purpose of the site is, and that is (it seems to me, I could be wrong) to comment on an album.
Well, I’ll repeat it for the umpteenth time, regardless of the fact that they’re not original, they’re not good, etc. (I hope no one will dare to claim they’re not metal), do we want to comment on this album or not? Or do we want to continue with this discussion about the precursors that has already become tiresome?

Nothing personal, I just can't stand the bullshit.

A band that has nothing to do with the DT. It's true, every band has the fans they deserve.

And then "and I wouldn't bet my life that the prog is better represented by the collages of the DT rather than by the ethereal sensitivity of the BP..." But look, in my opinion, the DT don't even care about being the best representatives of Prog (at most, they might care about being one of the most representative bands of metal music, and on that, I’ll be presumptuous but I’m not afraid of contradiction), since, don't forget this, and I’ll repeat it until I’m blue in the face, they are a METAL BAND, so, as you can see, your comparison really doesn't hold up...

Let's not disturb the Yes, Genesis, and the like, who have undoubtedly influenced the DT (I don't believe, with all due respect to Tollani, that even PFM and Banco know them...).
As I've already said, it's clear that every group, even the most original in the world, has its influences. But damn, let's talk about whether an album is good or not, let's comment on it, criticize it, but no, I don't know why when it comes to the DT, it's always the same old song: they’re not innovators, they're cold, etc.
This is about metal, criticize them, insult them, do whatever you want, I don't care.
Alright, the DT are cold, I don't agree. Clearly, you don't know the band well since they have written some warm songs (you might find it strange) but they have indeed written them too (even on this album).
But these are opinions and they are legitimate.
But I repeat, don’t forget the undeniable fact that they are still a metal band, and I find all your historical references and unbearable pedantic discussions completely useless and tiring (as if it were door-to-door).
If you want to show how prepared you are, then you need to compare them to other prog METAL groups, even those that came before the DT.
Do you think it's so difficult, considering it's prog metal, to refer to past prog groups?
But don't come to me with stuff like: the other day I listened to, I don't know, a random album by Rush, Fly by Night, and Awake by the DT, and I have to say I liked the Rush album more, which has absolutely nothing to do with it since we're talking about completely different genres.
