Lacuna Coil Karmacode

Emanuele, I respect your opinion, but if you have the patience to wait, you will find my reasons regarding the (in my opinion, of course) mediocrity of the latest Moonspell in my review that will be out in a few days. As for the fact that Lacuna Coil influenced that absolute commercial jam of Evanescence, allow me, that is all to be verified, given that they propose a significantly different music.

But that's not the point at all.
You should, if you want to of course, respond to the questions I raised, so that I can understand more clearly what you think.

Then another thing, add something else to gothic in the description of De genere: perhaps someone who doesn't know Lacuna Coil might think they are facing the Sisters of Mercy or Bauhaus ;-D

Beautiful review.
If this album has only a quarter of the value of Silent Enigma by Anathema, it is definitely worth owning.

Forgive me Brizz, but you've written some things that just don't sit right. It's true, the album isn't bad overall; it deserves a passing grade. The influence of certain American bands like Korn is definitely there, but then can you explain where you hear Limp Bizkit (???) and "the Brit-pop of the Strokes and Franz Ferdinand" (?????)? I totally disagree with Enjoy the Silence, which is literally copied, lacking originality and absolutely tacky. I also strongly disagree about the supposed "Gothic style of Lacuna Coil." Can you explain how it sounds? Perhaps the current sound of Lacuna Coil could be defined as nu pseudo-gothic rock due to some nu influences, but their earlier albums, while well-played, weren't significant enough to give birth to a Gothic style of Lacuna Coil, simply because it doesn't exist. In conclusion, good band; I’ll slightly lower the rating I gave in the previous review, but when it comes to true current gothic rock, the inspired stuff, only Katatonia and a few other bands are capable of playing it. Not to mention gothic metal, which is going through a prolonged crisis. For example, just listen to the latest from Moonspell, simply terrible.

Matt, while I absolutely respect your opinion and your tastes, you have to admit that it's really quite subjective on your part to give top scores to any production from Dream Theater or former members of the band. I understand being fans, but a bit of objectivity is always necessary.
Killing Joke Killing Joke
Voto:
If you want my opinion, Alex, as a fan of Killing Joke, I find the peak of the band right around the mid-80s (new wave period) with the release of, in my opinion, amazing albums (all 5-star) like Night Time, the one you mentioned, Brighter... and Outside the Gate. From Extremities... onwards, I find them too electronic for my tastes, although they are great albums. The self-titled debut, on the other hand, is incredible.

I completely agree with the reviewer about the record.

You're absolutely right, Let... It was Bob Rock who ruined them. After all, there's not much difference between him and Rubin.

I'm glad for your clarification... I must have misunderstood your closing.
