Incredible concert at the Royal... I watched it as a kid on VHS...
The cover of Knockin on Heaven's Door at the end takes your breath away...
About the Sisters, it’s a matter of opinion...
In my view, the band and Eldritch are the same thing.
See, for example, First and Last and Always..., beautiful but, in my opinion, no less beautiful than the subsequent Floodland, when Adams and Hussey were missing (by the way, the debut album of the Mission is veeeery beautiful).
You piqued my curiosity with your post, Tyler... can I ask if you are a man or a woman?

Ah, to be precise, The Silent Enigma is one of the unattainable masterpieces of doom gothic...
Listen to believe.

In my opinion, the best of the Liverpool combo is The Silent Enigma. A step below, but equally beautiful and much more psychedelic compared to The Silent Enigma, is the subsequent Eternity, which is indeed the album of the psychedelic turning point for Anathema. In this regard, listen to the Pink Floyd cover "Hope," it's simply spine-chilling.

The Silent Enigma one of the best metal albums of all time

HERESY, GREAT HERESY!!!!!
The review would be well-written if it weren't for that thing about Katatonia...
Cronos, if you hadn't said that Katatonia (band from Stockholm, Sweden) were Norwegian, I would have given you a 4, but this serious mistake costs you a full point.

Alright, even though I completely disagree, at least you're arguing in a somewhat more civil manner now.
See you another time, I need to log out... bye.

Come on, I’ll give you a chance to redeem yourself. Explain to me how this album is hard rock, so maybe I can draw a parallel with, I don’t know, Pyromania by Def Leppard, or Pump by Aerosmith, or even 1987 by Whitesnake.

This is also demonstrated by the fact that of your three posts above, unlike me who clearly presented my position supported by facts, you have written practically nothing. The Latins, you know how they used to say about this: Tamquam non esset, that is, as if they had not been written...

I’m pleased to notice that you’ve lowered your guard a bit, but not entirely.
Excuse me, but why not admit that this album is NOT OBJECTIVELY hard rock?
Believe me, it’s not a matter of opinions.
This is not hard rock, just like Back in Black is not punk, just like Sandinista is not metal.
If you didn’t want to create flame, as you say, you could have argued your ideas in a more civil manner without Machiavellian mockery.
