In my opinion, all the Judas albums have aged terribly. Back then, I would have always given this a 5; listening to it now, I can give it nothing more than a 2, but I avoid rating it since I feel the same way about many other classic metal bands from the past. Perhaps the only one that still remains listenable today in its power, without that musty smell, is Painkiller.

I beg to differ, Blackdog. In my opinion, the best Lovecraftian film is "In the Mouth of Madness," with less plot and, indeed, much more madness.

I completely agree with Occluto. In my opinion, it's a cult classic. Best Carpenter film, in my view, alongside The Mouth of Madness, with an outstanding performance by Kurt Russell, and light years better than the original.

So, the review, teetering between the sacred and the profane, is very entertaining and can be read in one go. The film is the only one I've seen by this director, and it strikes me as insanely brilliant. That said, I'll move on to the ratings.

Hi bartle, I’ll gladly follow your advice, as lately I’ve been really getting into Asian terror. Recently I watched "Ichi the Killer" by Miike. Absolutely devastating, musically it would be a brutal death gore metal with a cavernous and bloody growl. I think I'll write a review when I have the time.
