Really excellent ajeje... it starts off calm, only to grow significantly later on. Let's just gloss over the other releases during this period, including the much-acclaimed Omen il presagio, which has nothing to do with the original 76 version featuring the superb Gregory Peck.

I definitely agree with this. What really bothered me is being called limited because I mentioned that my favorite horror films are Shining and The Exorcist, only to then have someone claim that some truly mediocre films are better than those (of course, from my point of view). I’ve seen Cannibal Holocaust, Buio Omega, and others, and they didn’t impress me; in fact, they mostly disgusted me, and this goes for all splatter films. However, I was quite intrigued by the recent "Descent." Of course, this discussion cannot ignore subjective tastes, and I also recognize the importance of directors like Deodato and D'Amato—no doubt about that. All this without accusing others of being limited or childish.
