I'm not really into rage. I have unity and I listened to the latest one, and I found them to be the same old power band just like hundreds of others.

Allow me, Joan, but I consider Antichrist Superstar a load of crap with a capital C. The only decent one from Manson is the debut "Portrait of an American Family." I think the rest are terrible. By the way, about Alice: LEGENDARY! Schoool's out for Suummmeeerrr! ;)

The cannibalistic trend disgusts me.
Bloodshed for its own sake.
I leave you (for now) with two historical films: the first is Dracula (1931) with Bela Lugosi and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1917 if I’m not mistaken) by Robert Wayne. Regards.

I agree once again with ajeje.
I found The House of a Thousand Corpses terrible.

The cursed house is a film, if I'm not mistaken, American, that struck me especially because it is set in the 1800s, during the American Civil War, so much so that at first it feels like a western film. After a while, the film reveals its true essence. The peculiar thing is that the setting is bizarre for a horror film. But, in my opinion, perhaps that's also why it becomes so impactful.

Another great movie I recently watched was "La casa maledetta."

Both films are inspired by the tales of Howard Philip Lovecraft, an American writer and visionary, whose visual madness is worthy of Dante. They are both from the 90s and are enriched by an excellent cast. In the Mouth of Madness, directed by John Carpenter, features Sam Neill and Charlton Heston in its cast. Dagon, a Spanish film, showcases the participation of Francisco Rabal, the legendary Spanish actor who passed away a few years ago. If you know Lovecraft and have read some of his novels, you simply must see them, trust me.

What particularly affects me is Damien's mocking grin at the end as he attends Gregory Peck's funeral. It's mainly for that reason that I consider it a good film.

Call me stereotypical, banal, or whatever, but my 5 favorite horror movies are:
1) The Exorcist (the '77 version, of course)
2) Shining
3) Suspiria
4) In the Mouth of Madness
5) Dagon, the Mutation of Evil.
These are the ones that come to mind right away; I’m sure I’ll leave out others.

Damn, I missed this one.
Great Qzè, nice review and a very beautiful and unique album, just like that shady figure of Marc Almond.
By the way guys, I heard about a car accident he was involved in some time ago.
Do you know anything else?
