Here’s another gem of nonsense, uh... I meant wisdom, from our dear lord Nostradamus Poletti who, I could bet on it, has no idea how this record is made and uses it as an excuse to throw crap at an entire genre, thoughtlessly dragging the Beatles into it as well. Poor thing that you are, and to think that with the change of nickname I thought you had awakened to a new life. I have to reconsider, since you are the same know-it-all incompetent.

Poletti, I see that even changing your nickname hasn't changed you. Still as arrogant and smug as ever. And do you really think that, even if what you say were true, this review would deserve a two? And then there's mister objectivity who gives 5 to Articolo 31, Vasco Rossi, Ligabue, who writes nonsense about the Velvet Underground, U2, Cranberries, Korn, and whoever else you can think of and expects to act like a professor with others. Give me a break! (de curtis docet)

But why do you want to tell me that the gothic music of today would be Evanescence?
Oh my God, I don’t dispute musical tastes, but this is getting ridiculous.
On one thing I agree with the anonymous commenter, if Evanescence is gothic, then Green Day and Finley are punk. Goodbye, I’m clicking on "I no longer want to receive alerts," because you’ve flooded my inbox with useless comments and nonsense.

Pretazzo, don’t get me wrong, but your previous post felt a lot like you were messing with me, considering that since I joined this page, I've seen you behind specifying my comments. If that’s not the case, I’m glad, no worries. But, as I mentioned to Joe, some hyper-technical comments really get on my nerves in the end because they seem thrown in just to look cool, only to go off and masturbate. It's not the case with you (as I actually mentioned in your review on Fall, where I defended you), but for a moment I had the impression you were pulling my leg on a topic that, by the way, you could hardly do that on. Anyway, peace, regards.

Pretazzo, allow me to offer a critique.
Recently, your comments have taken on a certain something reminiscent of Scaruffi and others, which didn't happen in the past, perhaps as a reaction to the excessive criticism you've received regarding your review of the Fall.
Now, I'm not questioning your musical knowledge (especially in specific genres like, for example, hardcore, much less in metal), but I advise you to limit your excessively technical dissertations on things that are neither here nor there, otherwise, you might end up behaving worse than Poletti.
There is absolutely no comparison between Maiden and Metallica, neither in terms of influences, historical context, nor genre.
In short, there can be no, and I mean no, connection between them.
What you've stated seems like a stretch to show at all costs that you are knowledgeable.
Now, I repeat, I could be wrong, of course, but if you do this in hardcore or other genres where you are more knowledgeable, that's fine by me. However, that you act as a know-it-all also in metal, and especially about the Metallica and Iron Maiden, whom I started listening to at the age of 11, well, allow me to say, it’s something that bothers me a bit.

Come on, Joe, let's bury the hatchet.
It's a time when I'm feeling pretty grumpy and tend to be contentious. Good Sunday.

Dear anonymous, you perfectly encapsulate my thoughts and I hope it has been clear from what I have written. Good evening to everyone.

But what does this have to do with your claim that the Pistols improved the punk of the Ramones?
P.S.: don't talk to me "like Scaruffi," it's something I really can't stand, please try to keep a low tone.

I’m sorry, but it’s stronger than me.
To say that the Pistols improved punk seems to me a blatant blasphemy, given that they are absolutely the most commercial punk band of the time and, after all, the most well-known.
Let’s be clear, I’m not a great expert on punk music, but from what I see, I’m in good company if you write things like that.

No, Sweet, absolutely.
None of us thinks that a song has to be beautiful only if it's gothic metal.
But we also need to avoid insulting the intelligence of the audience by claiming that this little band plays gothic metal. It requires a bit more musical knowledge in this sense, and we shouldn't throw around phrases and genres without understanding them or just based on hearsay.
