The review is good, but honestly, the combination that is starting to trend between nu metal sounds and gothic really disgusts me.

Zaireè, but do you happen to work at an ILVA company? You know, a guy I know is a computer scientist...

Giving one less point for a correct or incorrect subjunctive, which could very well be a mere oversight, seems truly crazy to me.

Sin, I'm sorry, I don't want to spark a debate, but you've written so many lengthy posts to reiterate the same concept.
Since we've reached a dead end, we can wrap it up like this: for you, this album has punk influences (you could have spared me all the goo about the meaning of the term "influence" since I'm not an idiot, and you're just coming off as pretentious this way), while for most others, it doesn't. Regards.

Okay Lethe, but in this case, music wouldn't be the cause of those feelings, but merely the vehicle for the memory. It's not exactly the same thing. In any case, I respect your sensitivity and everything you've written. It's commendable that you have opened up so sincerely. Bye bye.

I'm sorry Lethe, but why should you apologize?
My comment wasn't a critique of your review, which is written excellently, but rather of the way it is written.
But, I repeat, this is just my opinion.
That doesn’t mean that others might not like it that way. ;-)

I rate the album, which I find very beautiful but to which I prefer their, let's say, ordinary records.

Lethe, I don't want to come off as too cynical, but the review seems a bit over-the-top and really exaggerated, honestly. Maybe I'm wrong, but I’ve never had such a strong experience as the one you're describing from listening to an album. Sure, music does expand your mind and make you feel intense emotions, but in the end, we're still talking about music. An experience like that might be encountered during a sexual encounter or while high on marijuana (the most I've indulged in). A pain like that can be felt from losing someone you cared about, or from a relationship ending, or even from a major disappointment or failure. But connecting such penetrating emotions to listening to an album, I'm telling you (and reiterating, perhaps I am just too insensitive or cynical), seems truly exaggerated to me. No hard feelings, of course. Bye.

I address the reviewer: perhaps Spreka might have exaggerated, after being provoked, in emphasizing the fact that he writes for a webzine and you do not, but, in my opinion, someone who takes on the, let’s call it, responsibility of writing a review, in addition to accepting praise and criticism, should also respond to questions or clarifications from users; otherwise, I might start to suspect that you don’t know what you’re talking about. Regards.
