Put a question mark at "you don't express your opinion"?

If you believe that I have disrespected you with my comments, you deeply offend me, in addition to confirming my impression that you do not want to accept criticism from others. On the contrary, you will always be welcome in my reviews, and if you have critiques for me, I expect you to share them so I can try to change your mind.
Explain to me, if you don’t like a review or a comment, don’t you express your opinion? And then, indirectly, you have also passed judgment, implicitly telling me that I am worthless because I would have disrespected you (which is absolutely not true). I don’t know, Maria, you seem a bit too closed-minded to have an honest and constructive dialogue, which is contrary to what you want to seem like.
And again, I repeat, try to separate everyday life from what happens on DeB. I do not know you in everyday life, and indeed, I would not presume to judge you. But I can certainly form an opinion of you based on what you write on the site. This is something you can do as well. It is called, I repeat once more, democracy.
Needless to say, a lack of respect has absolutely nothing to do with this. If someone were to disrespect anyone every time they allowed themselves to critique, there would be no debate or freedom of expression. And yes, because that would mean showing disrespect. Good night to you too.

"Unfortunately, there are so many people who are only on Debaser to attack, judge, gossip, and hurt without restraint (and I don't want to say this about you, I'm speaking generally), does that seem right to you?"
Of course it doesn't seem right to me, what kind of reasoning is that?
Once, if you remember well, I even defended you from an anonymous idiot who was tarnishing a review.
But then, excuse me, what does all the talk you did have to do with my comment?
Instead of making me change my mind, you're dodging the issue.
I mean, you can very well say that I am, I don't know, a nuisance.
It's up to me to reply and try to convince you otherwise.
But very often we don't even want to hear criticism, we avoid it, we sidestep it.
That's what it seems you've done in these long posts.

In fact, what I think of you I wrote earlier. In my opinion, from what you write, you seem constructed and not genuine. Then it's clear that I speak from a debaserian point of view, not knowing you in daily life. I repeat, from what you write on the site, you seem very constructed to me. Personal opinion = my judgment expressed in a civil manner = democracy = freedom of expression. Everything adds up. Then, if you want, one day we can grab a coffee, so you can introduce me to the Mariaelena of everyday life, and my judgment could easily change. But based on what you write, I currently see you this way, I’m sorry.

Maria, with all due respect, what are you talking about?
Can you point out where in my post I would have judged you?
I simply dared to say that writing "thank you for existing" to Robert Smith is a bit excessive, considering that, after all, I don't believe you know him personally.
I didn't judge you at all, unless you're suffering from paranoia.
If you want to be hypersensitive at all costs, it's clear that I might think your way of behaving seems quite contrived and not spontaneous.
P.S.: if you want to read a review truly written with soul and that genuinely moves you, check out Nick Cave's by Bartleboom and notice the difference between those who want to come across in a certain way at all costs, ending up in banality, and those who actually have great sensitivity but don’t force it in everyone's face in a way that is anything but spontaneous like you do.

I’m glad that common sense has prevailed. Best regards.

And what does this have to do with the previous discussion?
Well.
When you don't know what to say, it's sometimes useful to stay silent.

Okay, but I repeat, it should be done in designated commercial spaces. It's too easy to be clever and get free advertising for profit. With this conversation, I consider the matter closed as far as I'm concerned.

Dave, I have no intention of discussing this matter at length. Go and carefully reread this guy's site and check thoroughly if he's not doing it for profit as well.

Alright, you think that way and I respect it, but in my opinion, it’s just a petty and speculative behavior. However, maybe next time I write a review I can take the opportunity to promote my professional activity; you never know, I might snag a client.
