"Beautiful"... well, it all makes sense!... I would also suggest a little guided filmography, if I may (and here I go, more show-off than ever): Une femme est une femme, Bande à part, Shéhérazade, Pierrot le fou, and Anna, in addition to the ones already mentioned. (I don’t remember the titles in Italian, and anyway they are - as usual - untranslatable. Watch them - if you find them - in French and YOU’LL UNDERSTAND WHY ANNA KARINA COMES FROM ANOTHER WORLD...
