all true, Caz. even the Doom ass of the Belgian girl -actually as attractive as a brick. but you know, tastes...- I would have been happy with the White Hills (they're so cool! they wrapped up with a 10-minute rrrobbot jam, like the finale of "Walkin' on the Sidewalks" by QOTSA but in a glam version: mind-blowing) shoulder to shoulder with the Heads. bèlla clà!!! damn, I didn't think of that! but you didn't tell me anything either! I can trade with A) 2 crates of verdicchio or B) 1 crate of your Lacrima in barrique. your choice.

Price is... scruffy. He looks like the taller, cooler, and more of a jerk brother of Thom Yorke, but he's actually a bit withered. With all those electromagnetic waves... anyway, it wouldn’t have made much sense to put the festival name since I just dropped in - willingly - for the Heads. Then yes, you're right, "heavy metal" is placed there on purpose and a bit as a jab, but personally I didn’t notice any substantial differences in the general 'mood'. I simply got incredibly bored with Witchfield and Serpent Cult - who I find ridiculous if not embarrassing, without even blaming the venue's acoustics. Best Italian festival? It can aim higher, but the attempt is still to be rewarded. Say hi to the Perkele crew if they had a hand in this.

EKWGN seems to be a hard-to-find record; to be honest, I haven't put much effort into searching for it, but I believe it's a genuine rarity. Anyway, no, it wasn't there. However, the Tilburg edition (CD) was a limited release with the "italiota" cover and the date of the Stoned Hand. Plus, I managed to snag the reissue (also CD) of Dead in the Water, which I finally got to listen to with decent audio quality—there's a vinyl rip circulating online that's nearly unlistenable: fuzz is fine, but the ‘home intercom’ effect isn’t. The highlight was the 7'' from the split with Wooden Shjips and 33. If I can, I’ll rip everything this week and upload it online.
