I was waiting for your response, Sallu. Well, points of view. For me, poor. Poor and... well, poor. Then it goes without saying that, as you say, it could very well be a "right record, in the right place, at the right time" and I do not dispute the quality of your review. But (in my opinion) the guys, if they wanted to copy and lose those 4 ideas they had, really put in some effort here... -I'll summarize with grades-

HERE I COME! @ lukin: well, what can I say? You had me rolling with laughter this time more than usual.. anyway, New Day Rising is a gem even though I like this one more. @ Fidia, Roby86, and Stinger: guys, this album is really beautiful. Without overpraising: highly recommended to anyone and almost regardless of taste. These guys really know how to play! @ odra: nah... there's nothing wrong with being here. I'm comfortable. But you're right: Megafuzzu a bit with the big eyes and a very gnè closure. You're going to love this album, try to get it and let me know: this time I know I've hit the mark. @ trell: getting a 1 from you because we haven't passed each other the albums yet is a show of affection that leaves me bewildered. I guess it's joy. @ Caz: hey legendary! Let me tell you how it went: I downloaded Forever but instead of listening to it, I dug out Blinded that I had worn out two summers ago: it hasn't aged a bit and then the review came - you've already snagged all the fresh picks, sometimes I have to settle for less! - but detail fetissshious: it's Molten Records CD002 - to Josiah the 001-. Anyway, I will get hyped for the new one, summer 2006 keeps getting better.

my POP side is bloodthirsty and every now and then it seeks new victims: here, in my humble opinion, 37 stretched and useless minutes of French people pretending to be Americans in an attempt to hop on the bandwagon of pretty boys in Strokes style (on average, 2 out of 3 songs definitely verge on plagiarism). Some cheesy keyboards here and there to say "we're still Phoenix, remember?", super easy hooks, raspy (off-key) vocals, and feigned "rock"... they had ideas on Alphabetical too—at least for their genre—but here there’s nothing left. if you really want to contaminate yourselves with this stuff...

Carla Bozulich Evangelista

I always feel a bit sorry that I can't add my own thoughts - who is Carla Bozulich, anyway? - about the albums you propose, but that's just how it is. Instinctively, though, as an association of images, I thought of this Carla as a nemesis of Vashti Bunyan (of whom I expect a review sooner or later). Your writing ability is astonishing. "Embarrassment," you put it well.

Let me explain better. For Bomp, In The Red, and Crypt, separate shelves are needed...
