then reading up above..Toner Low! disco bomb, caught nzè sà how (lucky shot or on the advice of the shop, I don't remember). in the "stonerism" realm, I would add Truckfighters, Desert Sun, and an intriguing hybrid between early Kyuss and late 35007: namely Spaceship Landing. bye

Attack porcocazzo! "Magic in the Air" and "Final Daze", hurry up! It doesn't matter a damn, but this year's interesting release on the freak-beat-psych-acid-folk front is this self-titled album by DEAD MAN.

I vote for zeta on the cover, and I identify with the beast that SEEMS dead but has only hit its head.

Hey, why are you even bothering to close the reviews now? Come on! It’s pointless for you to act coy; we all know you read Harmony before going to bed!

Psychoooooomaaaaania! Kings Of Frog Island, so let’s see… FIRST OF ALL THANKS FOR THE TIP ON THIS ALBUM. I’d like to comment by adding some of my thoughts. "Everybody's Gonna Lose Their Heads" is a bomb in pure Josiah-style but with the natural amp distortions, "The Longest Hour" heavily borrows the chorus from "I'm A Man" by Chicago (hands off the legendary Chicago!) but it’s worth a can of gasoline next to a flamethrower – the riff in the verse. They hit hard and would distort even their own moms with a wah-wah if they could ("Psychomania" summer hit!), so I ALREADY FEEL BIASED. However, when they tone it down, I’m really not convinced: the ballads "Leone" and "the River" are lifted from anything acoustic I’ve ever heard and they also seem slightly stretched in the arrangement. I don’t know, with their 'fire power' I expect total chaos. Also, in my opinion, this album by Kings Of Frog Island is half the natural evolution of the first devastating album by Josiah. In summary: 4-5 out of 10 great tracks, the rest set aside. (Mat Bethancourt is definitely a kid to keep an eye on...)

Ah, finally a breath of fresh air! I couldn't take any more of all this death metal nonsense, hard-core, over-the-top showiness, mushy pop, and improbable digs from the lesser repertoire of illustrious corpses. Screw that! Bring on the lysergic soup, Clà!!! Welcome back!
