DJ Shadow Endtroducing....

I'm usually a 5 by default on (almost) all of DJ Ombra's works. Zion, have you had a chance to listen to The Outsider? It feels like a bit of a misstep to me. Very old-school and far from our friend's experiments... let me know.

Definitely yes! "Cats and Dogs" is the most 60s, then also give a listen to "Sweet Sixteen" (on the other hand, very 70s) which has 5-6 standout tracks! However, the true test remains "Singles Live Unreleased"...

bizarre, obscure, sometimes terribly useless (I’m responding to Fest and Stoopid) I've always liked RT for this underlying laziness of theirs. This being outside the norm, like street sweepers who collect trash at night and at home rebuild puppets made of plastic, greasy paper, and metal, products of their imagination. There’s not a single piece that flows, a "rock riff" that continues for 4 bars without a strange melodic surprise in the middle. Tough, yes, unbearable too... at first I thought "what a bunch of junkies!". Then you step into their world and suddenly everything else seems too well-made, too polished... fake. I really miss them, they were the best and this 'Hand Of Glory' I don’t even feel like “recommending”, the review is more of my personal tribute to what they’ve built over more than ten years of anti-career. The gingerbread house for the more adventurous.

aoh, I downloaded them last night and watched the first one right away! I can't describe the trip... another level. Have a good trip, clà, we'll talk later.

But how do you expect her to have gotten remarried at 79??? There's no doubt that Lollobrigida is on acid. By the tons. Get it together.

Well, now she's losing a bit of her edge... she's not very young anymore (she was briefly a model for Calvin Klein). Anyway, good old Neil dumped her, and to this day, she's cranking out decent (well, some things not entirely) solo work with the Howling Hex. As for Royal Trux, you should definitely check out "Veterans Of Disorder" and "Accelerator," then go back to "Cats and Dogs" and "Sweet Sixteen." And if you happen to be tripping on acid, I'll gift you "Singles Live Unreleased." But you don't do drugs: that would be too rock 'n' roll.

He "croaked" in the Royals: his cartoonish voice is a trademark.

well zzzzz Herrema hasn't really "been" there much (mentally). too bad about the concert; what you're talking about is the promotional tour for her new project RTX (you see, how original...) and the album isn't half bad. a bit hell yeah, a bit rocherolle but compared to this Hand of Glory it's oxygen (or rather, the exhaust pipe of a diesel locked in a garage)

Well written, yes. Fabulous album, the live moment I prefer and immeasurable memories... Tivoli, Rimini... it was enough to drive you crazy at those concerts. Beautiful stories.
