@supersoul: the Bigmuff is a legendary distortion pedal from Electro Harmonix. The Superfuzz (actually Super Fuzz) is the equivalent pedal from Univox. Mudhoney, like any legendary band worthy of the name, used Orange pre-amps and Vox cabinets... in search of the el Dorado of FUZZ sound. Forgive me, but when I get on my soapbox and ramble about technical details (all gear that I actually own, but as a loser-rockstar-wannabe) I enjoy it like a hermit crab.

The beautiful thing is that I really did the snob-test with their "Love=Acid, Space=Hell," causing a panic among my zamatauri friends. A night full of laughs, and then the internet revealed the trick! I highly recommend the entire discography of these three guys.
