...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead So Divided

I've made my point. Here, I completely agree with Trell. I care a lot about the guys and love their previous albums, but this is a letdown. Very little. Barely anything. But if they drop the bomb album I'm expecting next year instead of this, we can sort things out.

good review, it was missing in the archive. I completely disagree with the comments (and it's pointless for me to argue my point of view as a passionate and fundamentalist lover).

ROCK & GROHL! a beautiful album: Foo Fighters 100% and for me (every now and then) that's more than enough.

"it also knows how to stretch and ignite like a cloud at sunset, with long breaths of shamanic psychedelia, of tribal dances around the fire, of faces on which time seems to have wanted to trace all the roads, paths, and dead ends of the world" are the moments of the album that excite me the most. I've temporarily set them aside to keep up with High On Fire (who have consumed all my subway rides these days), but now I'm putting them back on. horns up to Bartleboom: great pen, so much style and targeted choices.

Comets on Fire Field Recordings From the Sun

The review itself leaves me perplexed, I confess. Not because of the content, of course... but because of the "angle" (the comments section is also about this, that is, "reviewing" the review). The Comets are hyperuranic and thank goodness they exist. "Avatar" remains for me the perfect balance between the rawness of the debut and an original melodic exploration. It only gets better with each listen. As for "Fields," there are those who argue it's the best, but not me.
Beastie Boys The Mix-Up

MIA is the Sri Lankan hottie and Tamil princess! (oh, I know everything!) But what does she have to do with the Beastie Boys? nah. In contrast to such beauty (of MIA), I add a horrible fact: Jon Spencer plays on the next Eros Ramazzotti album (and he’s no longer just the worst nightmare you could have after eating peperonata). sorrow. pessimism and annoyance.
