Then I respond to Odradek (I had missed your comment). "Junio" is a record of interdiction, almost entirely instrumental and only slightly "vocalized"... it feels like a practice to get a good measure of one’s own talent. Just some excellent soul-bop in the background, nothing more. "Esperanza" is much better: a lot of stuff, a lot of groove, and a lot of voice. Say hi to the lookalike for me.

I know it might seem absurd (and vaguely "bipolar"), but I've always had and will always have my dirty brake oil T-shirt! Hardt rock iz a laifschteil. When I want to play the good guy, I go for a total-black look like Tom Cruise in Scientology. Jokes aside, I was lucky enough to grow up surrounded by a sea of jazz and funk vinyl at home; it's a matter of imprinting... after a while, I can't do without it. Rock (and the "big guitars," as zzzzz would say) is the music I've sought for myself; that's another story. Thanks for the comments—I’m glad to share this gem with the right ears. ps. @psichopompe: we at home would like to know what your dolly is called!
