I also recommend "The Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd. An emerging group that hasn't been reviewed much. "Nevermind" by Nirvana (they say they'll have great success but for now they're struggling in the underground scene of Seattle) and, why not, "Ten" by Pearl Jam (a pop-rock band also from Seattle)... Well done!

Without the bullshit of the duplication, it would have been a great movie. They wanted to exaggerate. Other than that, really excellent, but I still can't get past that "duplication" storyline.

Beautiful woman. Really beautiful. Say hi to Casteddu for me. I’ve heard about them but never looked into it deeply. Let’s see if I’ll have time to do it :)

I don't know, I like to remember Robbie Robertson at the helm of "the band." I've listened to this album and I didn't like it, it doesn't say anything to me. Maybe it's because I hate world music. Some interesting ideas that, stretched out over an hour of listening, become tedious, heavy, and hardly digestible. Rating: 2.5

Given that I no longer know where to respond. Whether in my review or here :). @kataklisma: let's say that I listen to a bit of everything, including John Butler for a couple of years now. I'm not an expert in finger picking, you're right. In the same genre, I like ALO (hard to find), G. Love and Special Sauce, and a few other bands.

@ZannaB: his records in Italy are practically impossible to find. You have 2 options and both involve the internet. One is cheap but unorthodox, the other is orthodox but not very cheap. To each his own... John Butler never uses double string in G and always employs an open tuning, very often not the "classical" D but stuff that he probably invents on the spot.

@Laura. Let’s say I play a bit. :)

Yes, I had already seen it. He is immense. As I mentioned in my review, when they find a balance, then they will truly break through. He has an incredible style with the guitar. By the way, he plays an 11-string guitar and not a 12-string one! I believe you have seen the video of Oceans (fabulous song). If you haven't seen it, check it out. And also watch the video of Erik Mongrain (airTap). I would love to see them play together!
