"After three amazing albums"....you deserve one just for that. I haven't even read the review!

The mew are really good. Frengers is a stunning album. A mix between the early Radiohead and Placebo (another Danish band). I’ll let you know about the concert. If they come to Rome, I recommend you go see them. I’ve only seen them at Rockslide, but I was in terrible condition! :D! That’s a great festival to see!!!!

I'll let you know, but it will be fantastic as usual. He's a stage beast. He has incredible emotionality. I don’t even have one of their albums, but I keep going to see them live all the time!!!

I gave 40 euros!!! Hooray for Norway! As if I were going to see the Rolling Stones.

For Madrugada, the concert is tomorrow. The mew are on April 15th (if I remember correctly) and the Motorpsycho the week after.

I don't want to be Jack Johnson's defender. I haven't even seen the concert, but I have some of his live performances. I know how he sounds, and I can understand why it might leave some puzzled. It’s a bit like watching him play at home in his living room with friends. For MassimoF: of course you're comparing him to unreachable figures! The only one I've seen live is Dylan, and I can honestly say I "THREW AWAY" 60 euros. Unwatchable and unlistenable. In the end, Jack Johnson should be taken with simplicity. You shouldn't seek out musical depth or overly elaborate arrangements in him, but just tranquility. It’s a sort of musical translation of the slow life, which probably doesn’t fit well with the frantic chaos of Milan. For Turkish: Come see Motorpsycho, Mew, or Madrugada here in Trondheim ;)!

After all: THEY ALL SUCK! And here we are, unable to do anything but remain impassive as we watch the succession of governments dividing our money. From right to left. In fact, I am in Norway (forced to "emigrate" in order to become an underpaid researcher. Thanks to Moratti, Iervolino, etc.) and I pay taxes to a serious government that does things for the good of its nation. But my heart aches to see MY land in the hands of people like Berlusconi. And it hurts even more to think that the alternative is Prodi. I despise them all!

Music of absolute level. I’m a bit opposed to overly forced religious lyrics due to personal taste, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that they are written with impressive linguistic ability. Overall: not my genre, but definitely something extremely refined and sophisticated. A review that doesn’t need any commentary. Superb.

A great bassist, with grand ideas who has given in to the flat and watery world of music. What a pity!

X Stinger. I agree with you that Brushfire Fairytales and On and On were more "beautiful." But I realize it’s more of an emotional thing for me. A sort of "what was before is more beautiful." If this were Jack Johnson's first album, maybe this would be the best for me. (A complex discussion, explained poorly with a post-saturday-night hangover headache).
