I disagree. But perhaps the truth lies in the middle. I find them disgusting :)! I hate the song, it's about as commercial as it gets. I hate them. I hate Eurovision ;)!

@sexyajax Among the newcomers, he is definitely the best. All those you've mentioned are at least 60 years old. For sure, one, two, or maybe three notches above all the other crap that's out there, even though he doesn't totally blow my mind. I really like his way of playing with words, mixing rhymes, and seeking out the musicality in the word as well as its semantic meaning.

But did you hear them? It really seems like you didn’t! They are outrageous! Truly terribly horrible. I watched the Eurovision (since in Norway it’s a kind of religion). They were among the least bad, but to say that this is rock and roll, well... that’s quite daring! This is disgusting!

But am I mistaken or did the singer (Cisco) leave the band? I saw them on May 1st and they were pretty pathetic. Cisco's voice was a good 70% of their songs.

I don't know, it's up to you, Punisher. The album isn't garbage, but it's not something easy to listen to. I don't know, I'm still perplexed. But I felt like reviewing it for this very reason.

X morningstar. I'm not crazy about Elio e le storie tese, but the music they create is truly brilliant. We can disagree on the use of the lyrics. The comparison with Zappa, as I mentioned earlier, should be made with due proportions. I didn't say Elio=Zappa :)! Far from it... but most of Zappa's lyrics are ironic and nonsensical, just as the music is syncopated and convoluted. In short, there are quite a few points of comparison. Regarding the final result, as expressed... we can certainly discuss it :)!
