Ringo Starr Marc Bolan & T.Rex - Born To Boogie
Voto:
oooooh! How nice, well done!! I had been looking for news about this documentary for a while. I didn't even know that Ringo Starr was behind it all. I love the doubtful image you shared that captures the moment. The one of the frenzied fans jumping on stage, paired with the line from Bowie’s "Lady Stardust" - 'the boy in a bright blue jeans jumps on the stage, and lady stardust sang his song of darkness and disgrace..' is that the one?? :). A great character, and this time I’ll look it up!

Thank you, Jordan. It’s always a pleasure for the writer. Let me know what you think later.

Today I find it on my desk at the office, (one of my bosses gives me a little gift). Sycophant, opportunist, exhibitionist, fanatic, phony: call it what you want, he also has his 'why' in the 'industrial circus' as you say, antmo.

You nailed it, good. Then Valerio is Valerio. Every time he embodies the truest Roman spirit: the one with the downcast eyes, a big heart, and a joke that makes your day brighter.

Honestly, the idea of Tiziano Ferro in the album scares me a bit; it makes me have a sort of expression like that girl who's halfway between being absent and disgusted. Anyway, I've always followed them, so I'll listen to this too. Emo doesn't have this great beautiful vocal timbre, but he has other wonderful things, like his teeth :D. Is there anything salvaged from this? We'll see. I always enjoy seeing them live.

ahhhhh do you like it more than the other one? good good, you see.. :D this really came out in a rush (what a thing). It's truly a good album, even though for me underpop has moments that rival anything from previous works, just look at psiconauta, look at il gattone, look at l'attenzione. This one is brief but concentrated, clean but painful, and then the dialect is truly the essence of everything in these songs: 'Forse è co' ffuoco che tieni che ce hanno abbruciate si me lieve o' sfizio 'e cantà non te vendico cchiù.' I don’t know how else you can sing Naples better than this, and I'm saying this as a Roman.

Oh doctor, I’m glad to hear that Mr. Homme is back in shape, but you could already tell from the sick sick sick video, it was about time, that pig! :D As for Castillo, I would have really loved to see him in action; he must be an unstoppable beast behind the skins, he’s got two arms... mmmm... anyway, trucido in the fade is wonderful, not to mention he doesn’t do much! ;) I wonder how it sounds when sung by the roscio... live till you die, I knoooow!!

Oh Doc, what bad news, just over an hour ago it's left a bitter taste in my mouth, a heavy tongue, and a lump in my throat. Plus, Josh being silent is the worst of the worst. But at least did those idiots make it with chu?:D
