this cd is a real injection of obsession...
To start, I recommend "the eye of every storm," the softest and most melodic, but the spirit remains intact...
Then you decide whether to "regredire" (I suggest you do it)
I also like "Soul at Zero," but it's a bit different from the "modern" course of Neurosis...
Jarboe is instead a somewhat strange episode, fascinating at times and boring at others... it very much depends on the mood and the substances ingested!

Well... I preferred metalheads in the 80s and 90s (rowdy, loud, and drunk). I still can't help but laugh when I think of people I knew with closets full of black clothes, crosses, face paint, and chunks of iron... come on!!! Anyway, I don't mind dark (rock-ambient-wave) at all... long live Canaan...

I saw them a few days ago in Rotterdam and I fell in love.. I don’t know how many concerts so far have left me with a feeling like this.. Then we talked with the band for a good half hour and they are absolutely down to earth, it’s hard to believe! A well-deserved success.

At first, I was a bit annoyed by the definition of a metalhead who enjoys such sounds and explicit references to sadism and various macabre themes... then thinking about it, it’s the same thing that those who are fans of horror or thriller movies do in general... In the end, what difference does it make if with Thyrfing the ear enjoys, and with Romero the eye enjoys??? Good band anyway, even if I've moved on to other things for a while...
