maybe not exactly a crazy shit, but... ordinary. I mean, linear and flat, not even a twist. and it’s supposed to tell the story of adolescence? (and for a twist, even something lowbrow would have sufficed, like, I don't know, a punch in the face to the alien from Will Smith in Independence Day, to mention something horrifying).
Novembre Novembrine Waltz
Voto:
Beautiful review, beautiful album, beautiful ideas, but the execution of the album left me a bit disappointed. The Novembre were quite ahead in their early days, and they still are today, but it's a shame they have never managed to find the strength to create a groundbreaking album (meaning, an album that completely stands out from the rest and becomes a reference point). Even though you can now find them much more easily on the shelves with the new *the blue*. 3.5 rounded up to 4 for emotional reasons.

I quote rorix who quotes cornell who quotes malmsteem. **rorix. Hooray for dereferentiation.
Francis Lawrence I Am Legend (Io Sono Leggenda)
Voto:
The 2 deserves it for the photography, a bare city that is truly well rendered. The direction tries to elevate things a bit, but it's predictable, pretentious, and only occasionally truly fitting (the moments of solitude are slow and claustrophobic just right). I don't understand why Will Smith, despite not being a typical plastic face (someone said Cruise?), would agree to such nonsense. I guess the all-powerful dollar.
Demetrio Stratos Recitarcantando
Voto:
I mean, you treat Demetrio worse than Aguilera.. the useless and monotonous experimentation? Def(inutile && monotono)! If only we had more "wasted" artists like these two random guys (Lo Stratos and Fabbri, not the blonde).
Opeth The Roundhouse Tapes
Voto:
absolutely diabolical growls throughout the album. I would have appreciated a couple more quotes. then you can't skip the "porn music" after blackwater park!! unlike lamentations, it showcases a bit more of what opeth are like live, meaning perfect in technical execution and in the interludes a "goofball" (in the best possible sense) who plays the comedian :)

I don't miss it anymore. Thank goodness. 5 stars.

my expectations have been disappointed. The only redeeming part of the album is 3 minutes of "in the presence of the enemies pt.1" that even engaged me a little.

fiqo. I miss it, I was stuck on an excellent blood inside.
Katatonia Live Consternation
Voto:
Honestly, of those listed, only leaders makes me feel like smashing some skulls. The rest is gothic, which, to each their own, but I wouldn't use it as a soundtrack for a massacre. Rather, staying in the katatonic realm or almost, the bloodbath :)
