Melvins Hold It In

Great summary, (a) Senile Animal was an incredible album, then they started to decline... I have a feeling that if they just relaxed for a bit and changed their lineup yet again (I don't know, King Buzzo - Dale Crover - a couple of electric marimbas) they would come out with some amazing records again.

For some curious reason, I have never listened to them; I’ll fix that asap, given the review and the comments.

Unique are the Morphine, the stars are not enough for these records. I do not express ratings in the review.
Monster Magnet Spine of God
Voto:
I found a copy of Spine of God tonight that was wandering around the car without a case, gave it a quick clean, popped it in the player, starting with Pill Shovel… I’m halfway through Zodiac Lang and I have this goofy smile on my face that says it all. Pure great music, no ifs or buts.
35007 Especially For You
Voto:
Maybe it's because it's what I've listened to the most, but I like this one more than the others, just as much as the galactic Liquid.
Bohren & der Club of Gore Sunset Mission

Deep night.
John Coltrane Naima
Voto:
Coltrane is immense, not only when he moves his fingers a lot, but also in these seemingly easy pieces to play (Lonnie's Lament is one that never fails to send chills down my spine). I won't repeat what you have already written excellently, so I'm off to listen.
Dueyn Ti ricorderò
Voto:
just to get this stuff off the page ("things were better when they were worse" maybe not, but hey, at least Korn put in the effort, the brutality... here it’s just copy and paste.)
Dueyn feat Zheir Apro gli occhi
Voto:
I don't even have the effort to write two different lines in the two tacky self-promotions.
However, you find yourselves in a somewhat enviable position: you can only do better.
Lester Young and Teddy Wilson Quartet Pres and Teddy
Voto:
Hats off to Young, but '56 is the year of Sonny Rollins, a remarkable 1-2 with "Tenor Madness" and "Saxophone Colossus."
