Fantomas, Mr Bungle, Tomahawk: does this stuff that mostly takes the worst of the worst of the worst of Zappa seem like something that enters the History of Rock that matters to you?

I've already told you that I don't feel like A: explaining anything to anyone, nor necessarily justifying my criticisms (I can do it or not) B: filling out scariffian sheets on Tool and Patton, as that’s not my ambition. As for Patton and Tool having written pages of rock history, I get chills just thinking about it. Obviously, by "pages" I mean "particularly interesting pages," not just simple "pages of factual history."

Truth or not Truth, that's what I think. Writing personal notes on solo Patton and Tool just doesn't grab me; I've been concise and clear (as posts generally should be), because diplomacy is conservative and leads nowhere in my opinion. I avoid panegyrics whenever I can.

I don’t remember it well, but I liked Mine Is No Disgrace with the presence of Foetus. The Nirvana cover, on the other hand, seems like bullshit to me, a copy of the original. Patton solo is a semi-failure and Tool are honestly boring overall.
