Oasis Dig Out Your Soul
Voto:
Tremendous. The most mainstream album since Be Here Now, there's not a noteworthy idea, just the typical sugary melodies of the band recycled for the millionth time, thrown in our faces to hide the complete lack of content. The worst along with Heaten Chemistry. I have nothing against the reviewer, but pairing the term Kraut with Oasis for a couple of background noises is a heart attack waiting to happen. Remove Liam's vocals from the songs (strictly radio-friendly, preset in the typical Oasis template) and you'll realize how musically it falls below zero. At least with Don't Believe the Truth they had regained a certain essential quality (even if it didn’t go beyond mediocrity)... but this is just awful. Forget the "new rock/psychedelic look."

I'm listening to it now and I must say that The House Song is truly a piece of misery!

Maybe at first I got a bit too excited about this album, but it remains very, very beautiful :-) "69 Love Songs," however, was a triple brick of rare heaviness. Rece that explains how the story works, especially in the third part. Good!!!

It's curious that the most narrow-minded metalheads can only use the term "contaminated" (as if we were talking about mad cow disease) to refer to practically anything that isn't Metal. Basically, from Linkin Park to Husker Du, all the way to the Byrds, everything is contaminated for them! Maybe they should stop listening to Linkin Park & Heavy, Speed, and Thrash Metal together, just to let their brains breathe a little.

Reviews increasingly short and essential, for example, for the bricks stuffed with nothing that sit on the homepage... especially "fat guitars" are worth more than a thousand other words. Great Unrest; in the three albums I have, I’ve practically found three different bands :-/ Malcom X Park is the one I prefer, but I need to listen to Suki at least once a day. Maybe they should have had much better luck on Deb, nobody's paying attention to review them, except for the review of Easy.

I got rid of it soon enough.

Listened out of curiosity some time ago. Terrible..

"Brian Eno, anything but melodic and emotional": in my opinion, before making such statements, one should actually listen to the albums, rather than just reading on Wikipedia about an artist's history.

SUPERVAI but this time you've gone a bit overboard with the rhetoric. Has acute Berlusconism hit you too? Or is it Spalletti disease? :-D
