Riccardo is too hard on Queen though.

ArnoldLayne, no way it was bad luck; if he hadn’t experienced what he did, that record would have never seen the light of day. It’s ugly and sad to say, but that’s how it is.

Duane then??
Queen A Day At The Races

I don't like the reception... the album contains precious pieces, it's a shame that, although very elegant and quirky, the Millionaire's Waltz has always seemed to me like a B-grade Bohemian Rhapsody.

Duane, your post "they excite you because you are ignorant, many people get emotional listening to RAF, this doesn’t make RAF an essential piece of the music scene..." who was it addressed to, if I may ask? I wouldn't want to have misunderstood...

cptgaio is the expression I didn’t like. What do I give, little lessons on? Yours was a post steeped in moralism, read it carefully. Anyone would have wrinkled their nose at that post. "We're talking about something but surely they won't understand." If that were the case, I wouldn't reply to you at all, don't you think? "Little phrases like 'I know everything' and 'you, Riccardo, and Alessio are children of a historical revisionism' don’t you think are expressions meant to provoke others? Come on Gaio, please…

And then Gaio, the first "critic" I listen to when I have to judge an album is called Lux. Don’t mistake me for a frustrated trendsetter, you're peeing outside the pot.

ArnoldLayne, forgive me the mistake.

Dr. Gonzo, I also know what ontological means... I gave it a personal interpretation to help me understand, and I believe that in the end you got me, right?

cptgaio, I really don't understand your whining. I mean, I'm talking to you quite calmly, and you're making ironic remarks like "you are the children of historical revisionism" and "but avoid some of those little lessons." What are you rambling on about? Did I offend someone? Did I call you an idiot because you listen to Maiden? I don't think so, quite the opposite. I even told you that I listen to stuff that isn't the pinnacle of life, but I enjoy it because it moves me, but what the hell do you want me to say more? You are a man, you have a cultural component and aspiration too; if you want to suppress that because you want to fall into the most abject relativism, go ahead. My posts are written above, and they say quite the opposite of your description of me. Damn, I wrote "objectivism and subjectivism intersect seamlessly"... you know what that means in Italian, right? So, if to respond you have to start throwing sad jabs, then don't reply at all. Today I dedicated an afternoon to discuss with you as well, and you turn it into a mess? Alright, I wasted my time, bye.
