AA.VV. 58° Festival Di Sanremo

sylvian1982, but does your post go against those who criticize Sanremo on this page? I'm asking for confirmation because it seems impossible to me.

Chiambretti even dared to call a journalist an imbecile for rightly suggesting to shut down the whole production since the abysmal level of the Festival went far beyond even the average sensitivity of the crowd (nobody watches it anymore, except to indulge in Italian trash): Sanremo is disgusting even to those who don’t understand a thing about popular music, and that says it all.

The apotheosis of total nothingness, of fake colors, of pseudo-critics, of scantily-clad mice trying to attract the attention of frustrated phalluses, of Frizzi and Fede who dare to give 9 and 10 to “songs” from the early Middle Ages. Pieces that can't even be catchy, overemphatic prepackaged whines, the destruction of talent, the victory of the cultural tabula rasa in Italy. Nice Elio in the after Fest, the only pseudo-positive note. Max Gazzè's song scores a 3, the others are all below zero or thereabouts. If people take to the streets for politics (with dismal results), why don't we take to the streets to protest against the commodification of musical mediocrity that promotes the status quo? (Indeed, to label the Festival as mediocre is an affront to the very notion of mediocrity).

Well, Longliverock, we have to pity Mr. 20 records. It’s already a lot that he managed to type the word Krautrock on the keyboard. There are also Amon Duul I and II, cosmic Jokers, and Tangerine Dream, which are indeed different from Kraft, but what’s the point of talking about these differences with an idiot like Mr. 20 mainstream records? Let him rot in the darkness of his dementia.

"...Anyway, they are repetitive, but honestly we need to try to stop criticizing the repetitiveness of bands, damn it, otherwise we eliminate 97% of metal bands..." ...what wise words, Justice, I eagerly await the day when 97% of metal will be wiped out!

Daft, you’re such an idiot. But cheer up, I actually enjoy talking to idiots. First of all, it’s not subjective at all, just a shitty human cliché that’s all you are. It’s PROVEN that there have been significant innovative groups in the underground, just as it’s proven and EVIDENT that the mainstream doesn’t prioritize quality, but rather success, money, and fame. You’re a moron. Then we could find some decent, good, even very good commercial bands, sure, but they represent only 1 or 2 percent. You, of course, don’t understand a thing about the underground, you know nothing. You ask me, “Who the hell are Fugazi?” Ignorant piece of shit, you’re a failure of biblical proportions, a worthless subject. Underdeveloped, go listen to Travis, Mr. 20 albums. You deserve those. Blink are no worse than any other crap, once again you show your peasant clichés alienated from any kind of culture. Go back to tilling the land, you and your 20 albums of crap. I could name another 8,000,000 groups that you don’t know at all (because YOU are too busy watching TRL and its lovely company). Don’t provoke me, cotto boy.

Ihsahn gets really angry with the Judge, but he still hasn't realized that there's little to get angry about. So far, he has reviewed terrible albums that he's talked about incredibly well. Defining Kotipelto as a complete singer is something only a "critic" from the quality jury of Sanremo would say.
