I limited myself to pointing out the mediocrity of the album as I see it, then what you do, whether you listen to it or not, is up to you. I can't feel guilty for using the term Sanremese, because that’s what I think. On the other hand, the 90s were full of beautiful albums (regardless of whether they were innovative or not). The problem is not that this album is derivative; the drama is that it is ONLY derivative. I see neither talent nor reason for its existence, it’s flat, musically irrelevant, it’s old. The last part of the album... are we really at the level of Stupido Hotel? So the point is: if someone has listened to certain things, this album will likely (I emphasize likely) be ignored, because they can't take it seriously. Then everyone can listen to what they want, but don’t get upset if I critique an album that is objectively thirty years old.

Their last album sucks, and I've said it, but I really don’t seem to have organized any crusades against them.

Zanna, don’t pretend not to understand, I’m criticizing the album, and you’re criticizing me. This is the path that has been taken regarding this review. Do you want to silence me or what? I don’t know. If behind meticulous arrangements there’s only a dramatic flair, then those arrangements no longer suit me. The question is another one. The major and most famous Italian rock bands (even those that start off as indie and then take the path of god money, or simply adapt to the "Italian" way of experiencing music for cultural reasons) hide behind them (the arrangements), but it’s enough to lift the veil of Maya for just a moment to discover tracks that are so reactionary, old, anachronistic, boring, and shockingly filled with supermarket pathos that the comparison with Sanremo and Vasco Rossi becomes inevitable. That said, I reiterate, I’m discussing the album, while some of you are probably clinging to me out of pride.

47 sure I’ve changed my listening habits, who doubts it? But if you read some of my comments carefully, I’m fundamentally a calm person, who becomes profoundly ignorant in manner when I have to read comments like those from Azzo, who invites me/us to take up horse racing because we criticize an album he likes so much, with added insults. Not to mention Chinaski’s pointless outbursts where he dares to tell others that they don’t understand a damn thing and brings up Marduk. I’m not exactly the Debaser type you have in mind, don’t put that on me.
