It's not irony; your joke is out of place because I never said that Afterhours play ambient industrial (then your joke would have made sense). I said that their arrangements on this record serve no functional purpose other than mere aesthetics, exactly like those from Sanremo. Simply because I see neither anger, nor suffering, nor anguish, nor any other human emotion in their music. I only see Agnelli doing everything he can to sing in a literally pathetic way (listen to the intro of "Naufragio sull'isola del tesoro" and tell me if it doesn’t make you feel sick). Take "è solo febbre" (perhaps one of the least bad): even so, they could have just left the guitar (which is already flat in itself) to accompany Agnelli, but they chose to add strings, which turn out to be totally unnecessary... when they pop up, you don’t understand why they put them there. You could say “to make the atmosphere more unsettling.” Yes, Afterhours would have liked to achieve this result; they WOULD HAVE LIKED to, but they didn’t succeed. It’s not enough to add instruments here and there (to an already cloying piece, interpreted in such an Italian way, with this pathetic two-bit pathos) to be convincing. With that shiny and dishonest production... I won’t talk about other tracks to avoid shooting fish in a barrel. You can get off to this record if you want, but you have no right to label other people's uncomfortable ideas as "nonsense" because, I repeat, you’ve limited yourself to saying that they move you and that here they’ve composed "dry" songs (in form, certainly not in substance though). The tragedy is that you have no idea what to say, and to defend yourself, you’re forced to repeat post after post that I’m talking nonsense. I couldn’t care less if you agree with what I say, but don’t poke at this story of De André dance because you can’t afford it.

De Andrè? Dance? Ok, I got confirmation that Chinasky just doesn’t get it, I really hope he’s doing it on purpose. Mcdowell but which paradise? But listen to what you want, who cares about you.

So let's put it this way: the arrangements of this album are RIDICULOUS because they are absolutely self-serving, just pure embellishments of little songs. And so they connect to those from Sanremo. You continue to misunderstand the essence of my argument, you get stuck on the word "arrangements" and turn all red with anger. You don't go further, you miss the point of what I'm trying to say. I'm starting to think you're a bit slow.

I, more than enemies, see people (Chinasky) who consider the ideas of others to be bullshit. Not exactly the height of politeness. Then they complain if someone else does it to them. For Ale: imagine, he can smack the album against his forehead as far as I'm concerned... as long as he doesn't whine if I write that this very album makes me feel like shit.

"You seem like 2 old senile guys with Alzheimer's arguing over a card game. After a while, the discussion gets on your nerves, just stop it, do it for yourselves..." MMMMMMM calm? MMMMMM

Chinaski, do you like the album? Happy for you. I can't repeat the exact same things for 50 posts in a row.

Zanna, your intervention seems more provocative than anything else to me, honestly, a clumsy attempt to insert yourself into the discussion. If you have something to say about the album, go ahead. Otherwise…

"But your WHY would be ugly is a pile of nonsense"---no, the problem is yours because you don't understand a damn thing, it's different. Since you’re not used to thinking about music and you consume it like this, as it comes, grasping only the simple aesthetic aspect that this fucking "emotion" gives you (which, by the way, is super subjective), that no one can really care about. In short, let's cut it out with the clichés.

"Music is not a cold calculation on paper." But which music, all music? Even Britney Spears? Hmm. "Wonderful lyrics, catchy yet not trivial melodies, concise tracks (meaning devoid of unnecessary fillers... 2 to 3 minutes and that's it!), refined arrangements, excellent work by the sound engineer (the sound of the instruments is super warm)"—do those seem like smarter things than what I said?
