Chinaski, I don't understand if you're serious or just messing with me... I've mentioned about fifteen bands since we've been talking, and you come to tell me that I only cite Dinosaur Jr.? In the previous post I named other bands, what more do you want? Aside from everything, you don't really understand WHO Dinosaur Jr. were. You don't get that they're not JUST an indie band, but they're THE indie band. So, that explains my choice to use them as a QUALITATIVE (and I emphasize QUALITATIVE) benchmark. The albums you considered fall outside of indie rock, and Kind of Blue by Miles Davis reaches the peak of off-topic, since it has absolutely nothing to do with the discussion we were having. I reiterate: then it would be me making outlandish comparisons, huh?
