Afterhours I milanesi ammazzano il sabato

Chinaski, don't pretend you don't understand; the Sanremo arrangements are beautifully useless in their banal aesthetic of a-communication. The same goes for this album.

Chinaski says that "trivial and irritating songs masked by excellent production and splendid arrangements" means that the carefully crafted arrangements are used to try to hide the complete lack of content and substance in the tracks. This means they are "sanremese" arrangements. By the adjective sanremese, I meant precisely this.
Fatboy Slim You've Come a Long Way, Baby

I don't like the album, but I'm emotionally attached to some of its tracks... Praise You is my favorite. And then when the intro of Fifa 99 kicked in with The Rockafeller Skank... what a great time that was.

Indeed, Chinaski, I'm not talking so much about the judgment of the album in general (whoever wants can listen to it, of course) as about the fact that the reviewer focused (like I did) on the "arrangement issues," which you teased me about.. eh eh!

"A piece of taranta-rock like that is one of a kind"---I honestly prefer Atlas!

In short, these Calla are really a calla.

Honestly, I don’t see any post-rock or slowcore here... it seems to me that they have the typical attitude of today's small bands to play indie/new wave in a very sugary way and really very little original. The singer annoys me.

Well Done, I would like to focus on the phrase "trite and annoying songs hidden behind great production and beautiful arrangements"...Chinaski, where are you seeeeiiii? :-D

Are you looking for a detractor of Toto?? Here’s one! Be careful, if you speak too well of Toto, I’ll give you the Tot(t)ò! Anyway, Paolo has already said everything about the band in the previous comment..:-D
Mark Lanegan Whiskey For The Holy Ghost

A bit disappointing. I expected better; Pretazzo mentioned names that, if associated with this album, would bring pain for Lanegan.
