Among other things, the album features a cover of "Vertigo," which, you know, is a techno song :)

Reading that Queen aren't worth much musically really hurts... I'm so sorry, huh???
I want to see if anyone else could have written songs like These Are The Days Of Our Lives, Friends Will Be Friends, Princess Of The Universe, and all the other amazing songs by Mercury & Co.
May wasn't a great guitarist??? I mean, are you guys delirious??? To me, a good guitarist doesn’t have to be hyper-fast and do all kinds of technical acrobatics with no taste... For example, I can't stand Petrucci and Malmsteen, while I find that Brian May has a musical taste that few can match, and if that doesn't mean being a great guitarist, well... he also has a good (not excellent but certainly good) technique, what else do you expect???
As for the rhythm section of Queen... truly refined, simple yes, but refined and very effective.
In short, Queen were a fantastic band essential to all music, and Freddie, whether some may dislike him or not, was the best, along with Plant, the greatest ROCK singer of all time.

Techno music... I mean, the keyboards remind me of Techno music (the dance)... maybe it's not entirely appropriate, I admit, but it was what best described the genre... I don't see all this power in it; I find that the album is quite prog instead.
Richard Benson Madre Tortura
Voto:
Benson is a unique character... throwing shit at him without knowing the reason for his technical shortcomings seems a bit reckless to me... it's true that the record is worth nothing, but from personal knowledge, Benson was an AMAZING guitarist, one of the best in Italy, when he composed the album Buon Vecchio Charlie around 1969.
Of course, I'm not saying that Madre Tortura is a masterpiece for this reason :)
Nice review!

I don't know the album, but I literally love Mercury's voice. The review is truly unique, splendid.
Novembre Classica
Voto:
One of the best Italian metal bands along with DGM, Labyrinth, and a few others capable of composing and performing impeccably. As far as I'm concerned, Novembre has only created great masterpieces; I say this as someone who is NOT a fan of death metal, but since they are a group rich in influences and use many clean vocal parts, they manage to be enjoyable even for those who are not accustomed to Death's sounds. I don’t see much of a coincidence with Opeth (a band I particularly appreciate) nor with Katatonia, whom I find decidedly more aggressive and less refined. Good review, fantastic cover.

Virgin Steele The Marriage Of Heaven And Hell

To the soul of the first review!!!! It’s beautiful, really well done...
I don’t know the album in question, anyway I’ve listened to some of Virgin’s work and I must say I liked them quite a bit, even though they didn’t give me that something to get attached to them...
Still, congratulations on the beautiful review!
