mmm, I don’t see it that way… absolutely good review but it contrasts with my opinion on the album.

Yes, exactly, I mean to say, it's like if you took any album by Emperor and made them sing about "pro-Christ" things (oh how cute, pro-Christ). It's not like they're singing things like: hooray Jesus, I love you so much, and Satan you are ugly and mean. But they talk about the defeat of evil and that of the demon (The Defeat of Satan, the band's first album has a "prophetic" title, by the way, the first and only unblack metal album produced by a famous black metal label that has released, among others, albums by Emperor, Immortal, and Mayhem). A little curiosity, by a twist of fate Euronymous claimed that bands like Mayhem would prevent the emergence of bands like Antestor, and shortly after, Hellhammer recorded this album for them and the previous EP from 2004. :)

STIPE, what do you mean by anything but white? When it comes to the strictly musical aspect, the antestors are as far from white as possible; it's more a matter of lyrics, which instead of dealing with satanism tackle Christian themes. This may seem like nonsense, I won't deny that, but what really matters is the musical result.
