Yes, in that sense it is true that it can be considered progressive music. In fact, when we talk about progressive, we shouldn't only refer to the musical genre that was so popular in the '70s...but we also need to look at the meaning of the word itself. To progress, to innovate...yes, the Who have done this...along with other bands, clearly. For me, Tommy is one of the most beautiful albums in the entire history of rock; not by chance have I included it in my personal list of favorites.
Regarding the biographical aspect of your review...my intention was not to criticize..on the contrary, it's absolutely right to do so, especially when reviewing such an important and significant group for everyone...I just meant to say that a specific section would be needed..otherwise, there's a risk that such reviews become extremely lengthy, or that while talking about the group, the album itself gets overlooked. Anyway, I'm sticking to my opinion...I don't really like the review. And in my opinion (even though I know I shouldn't say this), you K, can do much more.

this review is awesome. your irony and your self-deprecation crack me up. I won't rate the CD because I haven't listened to it and I don't think I ever will. haha...you're great.

And I also add that Tommy has nothing "progressive"... in my opinion.

The record is unmatched. One of the most beautiful albums in the history of rock. The review, however, I don't know why, doesn't say anything to me. I was accused of having written a biography regarding the review of The Smiths and the electric plums. K, don't hold it against me, but it seems to me that you say a little about the record itself, that is, musically speaking. At least, that's my feeling. When will there be a biography section???
