The Doors Full Circle

I think that the albums "Other Voices" & "Full Circle" are just attempts to see if people appreciated the musicians themselves and not just the vanished leader Jim Morrison (1943 - +1971). As we know, these two albums did not go down in the history of Rock like the previous six albums with Jim, but I must say that I don't mind listening to them from time to time... In my opinion, the best tracks are: from "Other Voices" the songs "In the Eye of the Sun," "Ship with Sails," & "Tightrope Ride," and "I'm Horny, I'm Stoned" is also acceptable. Then regarding "Full Circle," the songs "The Mosquito" & "The Piano Bird." After these last two definitive albums from the now surviving members of the Doors, it’s the end of everything. As the songs with Jim said... "When the music's over... this is the end... my only friend... the End." The chapter of The Doors closes forever. But their songs, and especially the myth of Jim... will live on forever!!!!

Queen Queen in Nuce

This CD is excellent, I remember buying it in 1998 when I discovered the great music of Queen. My very first CD was this one... Queen In Nuce. It's beautiful to start with this album because it encapsulates the beginnings of Queen, and it's nice to start loving a band not by choosing to buy compilations or various things, but right from the start, and then proceeding along the way. There was only one "crime" with this album, because the ballad "Doin' alright," sung by Tim Staffel, was not included, which the Queen later re-recorded in their first studio album titled Queen (1973). Hello!

Ligabue Nome e Cognome

Hi everyone,
the harsh criticism towards Ligabue seems exaggerated to me. I believe that anyone who can create 5 albums with three chords, who has the courage to present himself to the public without too many falsehoods and frills, has talent. The image Ligabue projects of himself is honest, unpretentious, and above all, down-to-earth !! Stories of a man, of everyday life. And then, guys, to those who criticize the music he makes... listen to the CD more carefully, and you will realize that the music is of excellent quality. The sounds are very refined, the arrangements, even if always focused on the lyrics (but that's what being a songwriter in Italy is all about...), are great. Have you noticed that now there are 3 guitarists? And that 3 different bassists and 3 drummers participated in the recordings? I don't agree with those who talk about repetitiveness. The album is very well thought out, very intentional, and above all it follows the sonic experiments and evolution that began with "Buon Compleanno Elvis." One criticism: perhaps it's a bit too centered on "I." I believe we must acknowledge the merits of someone who was able to gather 180,000 people in a field who already knew the single by heart and who, I can assure you, truly experienced 3 hours of phenomenal emotional charge!!! Kudos to Liga!!
A message to Jim Morrison in particular, but addressed to many others in this forum: why don’t you let us hear the songs you can make then???? Can you create a song for the people and sell it to half of Italy? We’re waiting for you in large numbers!!! Who knows, maybe you can also produce 5 CDs, make two films, write two books...
