The only possible review was Vic's. A commentary review is the saddest thing imaginable; just think of a Van Basten or Maradona volley described in minute detail—what does the public think they’ve "understood"? Nothing, because critical accounts are just crap for zombies with stagnant blood. Seeing is something entirely different; the Dutch champion soaring through the air defying any law of gravity has nothing in common with the words used by X for explanatory purposes. They are two different things: opposite. Therefore, Vic's pulsating intervention does not vivisect something indescribable but rather further blurs the object of analysis, creating something else. This dead crowd like Punisher will never understand… Galakordi, on the other hand, got it. PS: Vic, my MSN is dead, I can’t log in; if you feel like it, send the drones by mail… ciao :)
The Breeders Pod

The drummer of Slint is a dragon, I saw him in Rome, he was 70x100 of the band just swirling wrists and arms. He was the true glue of the band, jazzing, diluting, sleeping, hitting odd tempos. The breeders: boredom. Review: boredom.

The Germs Forming/Sex Boy
Voto:
Discreet but dated germs invented hardcore alongside the Misfits, and among those from the early era, they are among the best. However, some bands have given more breath to the genre, like Fear with their fusions (crossover-hardcore), the Butthole Surfers from their first two albums (noise-psychedelic-core), Flipper (Existentialism-Core), and the immense Bad Brains (Reggae-Jazz-Core)... let's say that in the early era there is better, but Darby and his mates are to hc punk what Hank Williams is to country: icons. Then fortunately came the Post era, with bands far superior to the rudimentary Germs: Big Black, Rapeman, Scratch Acid, Fugazi, Jesus Lizard, Naked Raygun. Come on, there’s a lot better than the Germs.
The Doors L.A. Woman
Voto:
Good review, but if you think about it, this album is from 1971; how much has been said about LA Woman? Really a lot, too much. I prefer to hear about less overexposed albums; for me, The End by the Doors is nonetheless one of the 3 mortuary masterpieces of rock of all time. Along with Frankie Teardrop by Suicide and Kerosene by Big Black, check out these other two songs, Nikko, you might like them. Also, read the lyrics, ehh... bye!!

No, this isn't it, happy. Be sour with me too, but what the hell do you want? Vic will always be a giant; he wrote the reviews on Michael Jackson and the immortal Oasis. You can't touch living legends.

But I'm not looking for an example dear Happypippo, vic has written great pages of vitriolic invective, it's a sort of upgrade of Martial coagulated with Petronius. "That's all," I'm not a teenager with your face printed on a t-shirt. In my opinion, he is wrong about you, I like you (not like those nullity meatballs-punisher-pretazzo). And in any case, you are wrong about him...
