Yeah, okay, better than kraut rock haha. I have to say that Italy has always been late and incredibly ignorant when it comes to modern music; aside from a few rare names (Le stelle, Area), the rest is derivative and incredibly stupid. This is a nice little record, shamelessly copying the Velvet, but A LOT. But let’s give it a 3 rating for the album, and a 5 for the work in the Italian context (actually, let’s make it a 6). Of course, they’re not Cale and Reed...

No. Fail all the big votes for this album. Here are the two souls of Soft Machine that do not coexist well at all (the Gong-like part clashes with the rest of the members)... too sugary and sixties for my taste. Third remains the only masterpiece of the band, and Six their gem of stylistic perfection, the others are just decent albums and nothing more.
