Smashing Pumpkins Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness

I don’t give a damn if you don’t like it, we only come out at night dear ngw, I’ve always liked that little piece and it helps to tone things down after the apocalypse XYU, it fits perfectly, and then it’s more of a march (for harpsichord) than a song.

The pumpkins are currently holed up in the studio recording the new album, and the lineup only includes Corgan, Chamberlain, and Iha so far. Nothing is known yet about the bassist; I believe D'Arcy won't be there, too hooked on drugs. Let's see what they can come up with, but my fear is that inspiration has become just a memory; then again, I could be wrong.

In the strong Prenestino, I remember, punches being thrown, there was a sense of rebellion in the air.

I also say that among the people I've met who start to approach this group, for the first few months they experience a swoon similar only to falling in love.

They have 2 sides, hard-core and emo-core, ultimately summarizable with the word post-core. One of the few bands that have given an original and futuristic spin to the primordial hardcore of Minor Threat, Black Flag, and Germs. My 2 favorites from the group are "Red Medicine," which I consider among the top 5 albums of the 90s, and "In on the Killtaker," which I believe is the most animalistic and rock and roll recording ever made.

birobiro, all that’s left for you is to grab everything from this, which is the biggest band of the 90s, starting with the next 3: in on the killtaker - red medicine - end hits.

Dodo, you're a fake, and I realized it from your response to the Blink review. You didn’t engage in the comments until you saw your name, and then you said that assertion up there wasn’t yours. Assertion, what a difficult word; you sounded like an idiot. But you’re just a fake enjoying writing trash and stirring up controversy. It takes more talent to create a fake. Dodo, you’re failing until September.

hahahaha structural complexity ahahaha but the fact that you are so concise and laconic, what should it lead punisherino to think? are we sure you really understand music?? ahahaha

I agree, punisherino change your profession, focus on briscola, and leave the epic masterpieces alone.

It is definitely more experimental and daring than maxy, there's no denying that; I prefer this one more. It was an album ahead of its time by 50 years, which is why it wasn't understood much then, and even today it sounds alien. Kudos to the heartfelt reception.
