Robbie Williams Intensive Care

Here is at stake the reputation of the site, and then we discuss whether Radiohead (for example) are more or less like this or if the latest Tangerine Dream is ugly or not, I mean this slights Bowie for a record that, if reviewed differently, could have had other outcomes for him. He may know how to write well for himself, but I believe there are many serious people on this site who evaluate works with judgment and a fair rating metric; he gave the same rating as "Ram" by Macca that I read earlier, ARE WE KIDDING???

The fact that you don't like "The Nightfly" was implicit in the review, as the dislike emphasizes, (in the specific case of the album in question "The Nightfly") a dialogue that can't possibly go beyond the aesthetic one concerning you. For a musical comparison on other levels, that is not your album; perhaps it could be..... the latest by Robert Webbe of the Blue.

I mean, if you give this CD 4 stars (considering that here they are just handed out, every album has at least 4 stars), what would you give to, I don’t know, an example........"The Nightfly" by Donald Fagen? (I warn you, not less than 50).

Thank you for the positive comments. The album is interesting; as for Kurz, I can say that I was obviously unaware of it, also because for me it's not a race for the best review (although it certainly wouldn't hurt if it were), but just a desire to be with "friends" who share the same passion and perhaps exchange opinions on slightly less known works. Thank you.

Parsley Fripp? The Gabriel you review is the incarnation of Fripp's thinking (in fact, this was the last collaboration, considering the great effort put in by both for the trilogy PG I, II, III).

I found someone who wrote a worse review than mine.

Perhaps the criticism has exaggerated a bit by calling it a masterpiece; I agree on that. However, I wouldn't say it's completely to be thrown away. After all, they have regenerated while remaining the same. I mean, just as they were liked before, with this album they continue down the same path, but with at least some technical improvements and less dictatorship in the compositions (up until the previous album, they were 95% Noel Gallagher).

Great review, I fully share your opinion on this work by Paul, which may have been unjustly overshadowed a bit.
Johann Sebastian Bach Glenn Gould: Invenzioni a due voci e sinfonie a tre voci

It's not easy to review a work like this: 1 because you may find those who ignore what you're saying, but out of respect for the product itself, they choose to withhold any critique; 2 because you might encounter those who truly listen and engage with the material you've reviewed, which could open up discussions that are more musicological in nature, considering the composer is obviously immune to any criticism; here, the interpretation is what’s under examination; 3 because almost everyone couldn't care less about "classical" music. I give you a 5 for the review even without having read it (though I did read it anyway) and a 5 for the album I don't know, but I own a version for solo piano of "Tamara" by Balakirev performed by Glenn Gould, so I take your word for it.

Ideologically, I don’t understand or at least I don’t want to understand. Ideological considerations aside, I share the need to reclaim the entirety of the work, which, after years and experiences, remains an excellent album, on par with "A Broken Frame".
