Dimmu Borgir In Sorte Diaboli
Voto:
But Cradle Of Filth have been sissies from the start. Let's be clear, it's like saying: "We're a bunch of sissies, guys, and we've been like this from the beginning." Dimmu, on the other hand, did the opposite, ruining themselves after a couple of albums. Anyway, if anyone wants it, I have Death Cult Armageddon; the candidate can message me privately, I’ll give it away.

It’s useless to reiterate that your reviews are always excellent. But I just did.
Joe Dante Gremlins 2 - La Nuova Stirpe

I haven't seen this, but the other day they aired the first one on Italia 1 at lunchtime. Review, it's needless to say, excellent.
Oliver Stone The Doors

Great. For once, we all agree in saying that Stone is dry shit. Excellent.

I stand corrected, rather than a typo, it would be a clarification in parentheses.

I want to point out (at my own risk) a typo in Poletti's comment regarding neorealism. Neorealist films often featured genuine "star" actors from the Italian scene, while the infamous "actors taken from the streets" played marginal and supporting roles, and they weren't exactly independent films. Often shot in studios, the recreation of environments was as real as it was "fake." There was money behind it, even in neorealist films.

I agree with the desire to skip "Priapo" (embarrassing is an understatement), but maybe even worse than "Sapore di Miele" is "Canzone Sensuale": a truly banal track with a bland lyric. Personally, I understand the MK's longing for songwriting, and I get the enthusiasm of their most devoted fans to follow them... but in my opinion, the live performances (generally still at excellent levels) no longer match those of the studio albums (which suffer from a lack of longevity and fade quickly). In short, someone really needs to bring Godano back down to earth. Maybe the "Uomo Del Formaggio" could do something. (my rating for the album is a 2.5)
