Elio e Le Storie Tese Studentessi

There is a significant misunderstanding in this review. Elio's lyrics have always been absurd but also decidedly "sense," which has elevated them (in my opinion) a notch above other Italian absurd bands. With this album, the formula you mention at the start of the review (absurd lyrics, non-sense of sense) comes to fruition, resulting in an album that ultimately feels incomplete. It's polished in musical composition, as always, but lacking in creativity. There are no memorable lyrics—in fact, quite boring. And that’s what impressed me the most about this "Studentessi": I was bored to death, and I know them well. I’m a fan. I can only save a few tracks: definitely "Plafone," a wonderful song, and "Andante con moto," very funny and "metal." Everything else is flat. Lacking in creativity. Lacking in verve. The singing is polished like rarely heard on one of their albums, but it lacks lyrics, stories, characters. Essentially everything is missing apart from these two tracks. And 2 out of 22 (unless it was done on purpose, but I absolutely don't believe that) means total failure.

Thank you, Bartleboom, I'll take a look at it right now. The trouble is that when a movie has few sources, it takes ages to download, often it freezes (the progress bar turns red) and other times it doesn't start at all.

Yes, but in fact Hard Candy seems to be completely different. Unfortunately, I’ve only seen it in Spanish (a language I understand zero percent). It hasn’t arrived here yet, and maybe it never will.

sensational album, the perfect fusion of the power and evocative nature of metal and the intricacies of post-rock. for me, it was already a masterpiece after the first 30 seconds of the first track.
Park Chan Wook Old Boy

no please. five to this movie no. the film could have lasted 20 or 30 minutes, without the visual excesses on which it tragically relies (aside from the great horizontal scrolling fight sequence) and without those final theatrical blows that make the plot ridiculous. sequences follow one another in a triumph of flaunting technical skills and means with no sense whatsoever, with no emotion at all. Park Chan Wook is not brilliant, he is a show-off.
