Steven Spielberg Indiana Jones e il regno del teschio di cristallo

I detest the stupid infantile behavior and the didactic moralism that soaks his films.
Tom Shadyac Ace Ventura
Voto:
This episode of Ace Ventura is definitely enjoyable and even amusing in its sheer absurdity. It is also a silly film, and "light," something that seems to have escaped everyone who is bringing up the figure of Jerry Lewis (the debate is completely off-base: "the story here, the story there"... just stop it) starting with the reviewer.
Pier Paolo Pasolini Comizi d'Amore
Voto:
it's not an old movie, and it's not even a movie. it's a document.
Renato De Maria Paz!

The film is nice because almost every scene contains a key moment important for the economy of the story (the exchange of lines between Stefano and Alberto, for example: "at my house the television doesn't have a remote control"... "yes, but I watch and you change" summarizes very well the discussion about abandoning pseudo-familial certainties to explore alternative paths that underlies the film), but it never quite reaches a hundred percent. Especially the ending (which at first seems to give the illusion of the protagonist's return to independence) feels very rushed and haphazard. Rating: 2.5 rounded.
