I would really love to get closer to his work, even dedicating the necessary time to the texts and the content he brings to notes. But I never seem to find the time.
Refused This Just Might Be... the Truth

For me, this has been a very underrated band; they could have reached much higher, but maybe it’s better this way because everything that goes up comes down, and Refused is a band that needs to be listened to in reverse, I don’t know if I’m making myself clear. >> no. you’re not making yourself clear at all.

Marco Carta Ti rincontrerò
Voto:
they shouldn't be bought. that's all there is to it. and it's normal that in music you have to work your ass off. even the protagonist of the review seems to have fallen from the sky. what does he eventually get angry about? if this Marco Carta hasn't lifted a finger to get the disc produced by Warner, so be it. it's something destined not to last. pure popcorn music, just like there has always been and always will be. let's not confuse the targets, the audiences that these CDs are aimed at, with our personal experiences. feeling envy for these is rather a bad sign.
Paco Plaza - Jaume Balagueró REC
Voto:
an engaging and amusing review, but come on, Blair Witch Project wasn't a bad film. at least it deserves credit for trying to overturn the structural idea of contemporary horror (for its time) by focusing everything on the concept rather than on what was shown and its "effectiveness." and in my opinion, it succeeded. I tried to watch REC in bits and pieces but I just couldn't do it. I kept fast-forwarding. I find it quite boring.
Alfred Hitchcock La congiura degli innocenti
Voto:
great movie as always when it comes to Hitchcock. I dare to say: his films remind me of those old graphic adventures for PC (you know, the ones by Lucas and Sierra) where you breathed an atmosphere contained by invisible barriers and where every element of the scenery eventually revealed its usefulness.
