Storm And Stress Under Thunder And Fluorescent Light

ERRATA CORRIGE: on drums the Storm had Kevin Shea (genius!!!!), not Damon Che.

Umberto Palazzo e il Santo Niente La vita è facile

great album. you’re right when you say it’s been underrated (... or overshadowed?). but I don’t agree with the comparisons to the bands you mentioned. (oh, 3 rhymes... damn...)
Afterhours Pop Kills Your Soul
Voto:
compared to the others from After, this is laughable. moreover, his English is terrible, to the point that it makes you want to feel embarrassed for him.
Nordvargr "Awaken"
Voto:
It is understandable (indeed, I'll use a harsher term: "justifiable") from their point of view because you talked about death. But you couldn't have done otherwise. All of Nordvargr's music is permeated with a particular and deeply personal sense of this concept. The dark ambient scene churns out a ton of albums every year, but no one can even come close to the peaks of this genius. He is truly ahead of his time. Sublime listening, even Awaken. It's a great album and it couldn't have been described better than the way you did.

but this album "is" relaxed. the (black) metal contains only the aura of "malefic." the atmospheres are very diluted and expansive. read the review of Nordvargr (the album is called Awaken) written by grigioo. it's more or less the same thing. the musician in both projects (Henrik Nordvargr Bjorkk) is the same.

You caught us. I like debaser. Sometimes I’ve used it as a buying guide when I needed some "extra" tips about certain albums. Compared to official reviews, there’s added value from those who aren’t paid to write and do it for the joy of it. That's a very positive thing. Sometimes (op)positive. But the world is full of sometimes.

I'm referring to my experience. To what I have seen. To what I have felt from those I have known. To what I have gotten to know. Always with the utmost respect (for myself). There are environments where no external input is ever welcome, while you can do nothing but correct yourself, and align yourself with an established standard. With a trend. Well, indie music makes trends. And it creates monsters. But it’s not the fault of indie. Do you understand...? (?) "Do you trust me?"
