Beyond everything, guys, we're talking about a new wave of black metal bands that rock!!! Maybe the review hasn’t fully captured the spirit (how many references to cacophony... which ultimately is melody...) but that’s okay because at least it’s personal and you threw yourself into it. So... alright. And deathinaugust has definitely piqued my interest with Nortt, whom I still don't know.

eheheh, birobiro, trust me... you can expect anything from Sunn O))) even a split "album". ;-) anyway, having already played with other music figures (like Merzbow, or Malefic, or etc) is part of their prerogative. they basically started as a band open to all kinds of contamination. it's what makes them great. I think they haven't shown everything yet. in fact, I believe there are still surprises waiting for us. in the meantime, let's drone... brothers...

Of the Boris definitely procured Amplifier Worship. And (for tepes), what do you say? It's just a split. And you should know that almost 99 percent of split albums are made to deviate from the usual stylistic path of a band, or to integrate it with the style of other bands. But in the end, it never really happens that the group changes its course definitively. It's just parentheses (and welcome, sometimes it’s interesting to know that such groups know each other), and this happens for every musical genre.

grandissima Diamanda Galas. I went to see her in Bologna... it had been known for over a month... no one warned the people who showed up for the event... and you know who the hell they put in her place? Amalia Gré. and I've said it all. and I've really said it all. (curses) I can imagine the disappointment for those who came to see her from outside, maybe even from afar. certain things can't be done without risking running into the admonishing wrath of the beast.

But yes, among all the albums they've made, it's the best. Born as a group that was supposed to make 3 (or however many, 5?) records, each one more violent than the last, and then disappear into thin air... they've finally dedicated themselves more to the art of the masks than anything else. The music they make today is, I would say, barzotta.
